Operation Christmas Child
One Shoebox. One Child. One Opportunity to Share the Gospel.
At New Hope Baptist Church, we believe that even the smallest act of kindness can make an eternal difference! That's why we're excited to partner with Samaritan's Purse through Operation Christmas Child, a worldwide ministry that delivers gift-filled shoeboxes to children in need while sharing the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
Each shoebox is more than just a collection of gifts. It's an opportunity to show a child that they are loved, remembered, and valued and, most importantly, to introduce them to the greatest gift ever given: Jesus Christ!
Through this outreach, our church family has the opportunity to reach beyond the walls of New Hope and make an impact in the lives of children around the world.
How Can You Get Involved?
1. Purchase Items to Fill a Shoebox
Help us collect new, age-appropriate gifts, including:
2. Bring Your Donations to New Hope
Our church will be collecting items to help fill shoeboxes for children around the world.
Deadline to Submit Items: Sunday, November 15, 2026.
3. Pray for the Children
Above all, we ask you to pray! Pray that every child who receives a shoebox will experience the love of Christ and that the Gospel will reach not only their hearts but also their families and communities.
A Gift That Goes Beyond Christmas
Christmas is a celebration of the greatest gift mankind has ever received, Jesus Christ. Through Operation Christmas Child, we have the opportunity to reflect that same love and generosity to children who may otherwise never experience the joy of receiving a Christmas gift.
You may never meet the child who receives your shoebox, but your generosity could help introduce them to a Savior who knows them by name.
“Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.” — 2 Corinthians 9:15 (KJV)
