In Luke 2:25, 30, Simeon experiences a moment he had long waited for. God had made him a promise, and as Simeon holds Jesus, he recognizes that the Lord has fulfilled His Word, his eyes have finally seen God's salvation.

Then in John 20:16, 28, we see others encounter the risen Christ personally. Mary recognizes Him as “Master,” while Thomas declares, “My Lord and my God.”

These weren't merely titles. Their lives reflected the honor, glory, and reverence they gave Jesus with their words.

That leaves us with a challenging question:

What do we call Jesus? And does our life back up what we proclaim Him to be?

It's easy to call Him Lord, Savior, Master, and King. But if He truly holds those positions in our lives, there should be evidence in the way we live.
